2017202412: Examiner Abstract Construction of a concrete floor with a raised portion stepped up from the upper face of the floor uses a formwork base on which concrete is to be poured to form a concrete slab floor. An elongated building element or hob frame is positioned and mounted whereby, when concrete is later poured on the formwork base, the concrete surrounds and embeds the supports without totally embedding the building element and the concrete at least partially fills the internal space of the building element whereby a unitary concrete mass forms the floor and the raised portion defined by the building element. 3\ 36 .32. $4 Fig. 1
