Abstract A guard rail scaffolding system for a building structure, comprising: brackets securable to frame members of the building structure, each bracket presenting, when the frame members are erected to define the frame of the building structure, a fastening point for an upright support member; a plurality of upright support members, each fastened at a lower portion thereof to a corresponding bracket for supporting a guard rail; and at least one guard rail extending between upright support members.
