A water generation system for deserts designed for areas featuring the desert climate and construed on a pavement. The system mainly comprises a sand layer (10) in which a water tank is pre-embedded. A moisture lock fabric (14) covers the sand layer (10). A gradation layer (20) is laid on the moisture lock fabric (14). A waterproof fabric (21) is provided within the gradation layer (20), and a plurality of hollow water permeable pipes (31) are arranged on the gradation layer (20). The bottom end of the water permeable pipe (31) directly passes through the waterproof fabric (21) and thus is vertically inserted in the gradation layer (20), and concrete slurry pouring is carried out to construct a water permeable layer (30). In this way, rain can quickly permeate to and be stored in the sand layer (10) for future use. In addition, air can also be guided to the gradation layer (20) and condense at the bottom of the waterproof fabric (21) by means of the condensation effect to generate condensed water, thereby achieving an automatic water generation effect.
