- 8 A pin pile is disclosed for anchoring sections of sheet pile to form a wall structure. The pin pile has a casing (1) with a plurality of external clutches (2,3) formed around the 5 periphery thereof. The external clutches comprise a pair of male clutches (2,6) arranged to slidably engage with corresponding female clutches (3,4,5) on a sheet pile (8). The external clutches also comprise a pair female clutches (3,4,5) arranged to slidably engage with corresponding male clutches (2,6) on another sheet pile (8).
