A sectional garage door including: at least one panel including a pair of opposing sides, and a pair of guide tracks, each guide track mounted relative to one of the opposing sides of the at least one panel. The sectional garage door further including: at least a first roller mounted to the at least one panel and moveably mounted within a channel defined by one of the pair of guide tracks, at least a second roller mounted to the at least one panel and moveably mounted within a channel defined by the other guide track, at least one retaining member mounted in close proximity to the one of the guide tracks, and at least one abutment member having a substantially planar abutment surface for abutting the at least one retaining member, wherein during normal loading conditions the at least one substantially planar abutment surface is spaced apart relative from the at least one retaining member and during loaded conditions that cause the at least one panel to flex the at least one substantially planar abutment surface moves towards the retaining member such that the abutment member abuts at least a portion of the at least one retaining member and the retaining member prevents further flexing of the at least one panel.
