Improved Mesh Securing System for a Security Door or Window
Abstract A mesh securing system for a security door or window is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system comprises a frame section having spaced apart projecting members and a channel between the projecting members. A clip is provided which is receivable in the 5 channel, wherein the clip is generally U shaped in cross-section and comprises an opening to an inside of the clip. The system further comprises an adhesive strip, a mesh for covering an opening in the door or window, a compressable strip, and a retainer for retaining the clip in the channel. The system is arranged so that the adhesive strip, the mesh and the compressable strip are received in the inside of the clip so that the 10 adhesive strip is on one side of the mesh and the compressable strip is on another side of the mesh. In this manner, the clip is compressed into compressive contact with the adhesive strip and the compressable strip thereby fastening the mesh to the clip.
