The present disclosure relates to building units and modular wastewater drainage systems and assemblies for use with such building units. A wastewater pipe unit for a first building unit is disclosed, the wastewater pipe unit having a first pipework manifold configured to receive wastewater from a second building unit located above the first building unit and a second pipework manifold connected to and positioned below the first pipework manifold, the second pipework manifold comprising a plurality of inlets configured to receive wastewater from the first building unit. A formwork assembly and a floor tray for a building unit are also disclosed.
