Abstract This invention relates to an excavator mounted rail rig where the rail rig used for drilling boreholes or driving piles. The rail rig is particularly suited to drilling bore holes for accurate placement of supports for mounting solar panels in a foundation for structures requiring supports to be fixed or fastened accurately where the solar panels need to be mounted in abutting relationship with fine tolerances.
