The present invention relates to a facade unit mounting apparatus (10). A first support (11) is for, in use, attachment to a wall (13) and comprises a first base (31) for, in use, extending outwardly from the wall (13). The first support (11) comprises a plurality of resilient elements (30) mounted to the first base (31) and comprising a plurality of projections (33) extending from the first base (31). A second support (11) is for, in use, attachment to the wall (13). The first and second supports (11, 12) are for, in use, gripping at least one facade unit (16) mounted between the first and second supports (11, 12). The plurality of resilient elements (30) are configured to, in use, bias the at least one facade unit (16) against the second support (11). The plurality of projections (33) are configured to extend inwardly and away from the first base (31) for, in use, gripping the at least one facade unit (16) against outward movement from the wall (13). The invention is particularly suitable for facade units (16) such as brick slips, other fired clay units, masonry units, tiles and the like.
