Equipment tower Abstract A collapsible equipment tower (10) is operable between an extended configuration and a contracted configuration. The equipment tower (10) has a base (18), having a base frame (16), and a collpasible support (12), having a distal end (22) for supporting equipment (20) and a proximal end (15). The collapsible support (12) is movably mounted to the base frame (16) and is operable between a substantially upright position in the extended configuration and a collapsed position in the contracted configuration. A retractable brace member (25) is provided at the proximal end (15) of the collapsible support (12) adjacent to the pivot joint (14). The brace member (25) is adapted to be extended relative to the proximal end (15) of the collapsible support (12) and secured to the base frame (16) in the extended configuration and to be retracted relative to the collapsible support (12) in the contracted configuration.
