Road milling apparatus and associated method of road milling
In an aspect there is disclosed a road milling apparatus (10, 110) including: a first section (15, 115) having first ground engaging wheels (20,120) and a first rotatable milling drum (24, 124) extending substantially between and carried by the first ground engaging wheels (20, 120), and a second section (17, 117) having a second rotatable milling drum (30, 130) substantially parallel to the first rotatable cutting drum (24, 124). The first section (15, 115) and the second section (17, 117) are movably coupled such that the apparatus (10, 110) is moveable between a first milling position in which the first rotatable milling drum (24, 124) and second rotatable milling drum (30, 130) are both engageable with a ground surface, and a second milling position in which first rotatable milling drum (24, 124) is elevated relative to the second rotatable milling drum (30, 130) with the second rotatable milling drum (30, 130) remaining engageable with the ground surface.
