The present invention relates to the technical filed of construction underground engineering, and provided thereby is a wall sinking construction method which allows a wall body to sink in a controlled manner. The wall sinking construction method is characterized in that retaining structures (1) are first formed on two sides, corresponding to a groove body, of the wall body (2); then a section of wall body of a certain height is produced on the ground, and jacks (4) and a supporting pile body (6) are installed on the two sides of the bottom of the wall body (2), which may reinforce the rock and soil mass under the supporting pile body (6). The wall body (2) is supported by the jacks (4) and the supporting pile body (6), the bottom of the wall body is suspended to form an excavation working space with a certain height; in the space, an underwater excavator is controlled remotely to excavate rock and soil in the groove body layer by layer; an elastic support (7) having rollers is sandwiched between the retaining structures (1) on the two sides of the wall body (2) and the groove body to transfer and balance rock and soil pressure, and thus wall sinking frictional resistance is controllable; and under the control of the jacks, a section of the wall body sinks and is connected to a higher section on the ground. When the described construction method is used for foundation pit supporting, the outer wall of a basement and a spatial steel support may be sunken and put in place at the same time to form a safe and economical foundation pit supporting system; the construction method also may be used for building side slope retaining walls and underground diaphragm walls.
