A floatation device
The present invention relates to a floatation device for a floating structure. The floatation device includes an inner protective layer; a structural layer adjacent the inner protective layer; and an outer protective layer adjacent the structural layer. Advantageously, the structural layer is sandwiched between the protective layers to facilitate durability. The floatation device may be tubular thereby making it lightweight compared with known solid floatation devices. The floatation device may be more flexible than steel alternatives.
