A GLAZING ASSEMBLY A glazing assembly (10) including: a frame (12) to be fixed to a supporting structure and surrounding an opening (20), the frame (12) having a frame member providing a sill (14); and a closure panel (22) attached to the frame (12) for movement between a closed position and an open position with respect to the opening (20), and wherein the sill (14) includes a threshold portion (34) extending away from an exterior surface of the panel (22), with the threshold portion (34) having a major surface (46) to be generally coplanar with a surrounding floor surface (48), and the threshold portion (34) is removable to provide for removal of the panel (22).
