A building according to the present invention comprises: an outer wall (10); a roof (5) provided so as to be orthogonal to the outer wall (10) and inclined with respect to the ground; and a flashing (20) provided at a boundary between the roof (5) and the outer wall (10). The flashing (20) comprises: an attachment part (21) configured so as to run along the outer wall (10); a guidance section (22) connected to the attachment part (21) and disposed on the roof (5); and a paddle part (23) provided so as to intersect the attachment part (21) and the guidance section (22).
