Grating and method of manufacturing a grating
The present invention relates to a longitudinal grating comprising a first longitudinal sidewall connected to a second longitudinal sidewall by way of a longitudinal grating plate extending therebetween, which forms a channel between the first and second sidewalls and below the grating plate. A top portion of the grating plate includes a plurality of longitudinally extending apertures, which are shaped to induce flow of a fluid therethrough. A bottom portion of the grating plate includes a plurality of laterally extending apertures that at least partially extend between the first and second sidewalls, and which cross below and at least partially overlap with the longitudinal apertures thereby forming a fluid flow path.
