Chocks for paver supports
Chock for Paver Support A known paver support (10) provides a base (20) on which four wedge-like support blocks (30) are located facing the centre of the plate spaced at 900 apart. The wedge like support blocks (30) define inclined surfaces (60) which define teeth. The surfaces incline upwards towards the perimeter of the base. Chocks (40) having an upper surface on which a corner of a paver may be supported and an inclined lower support surface which defines teeth which inter-engage with the teeth of the support blocks are moveably located on the inclined surfaces (60). A chock extender (300) is provided which can be attached to one side of the chocks (40) to lengthen the chock. The chock has a protrusion on one side which snap fits into a corresponding recess in the side of the chock, providing a larger surface area for supporting a paver as well as moving the fulcrum of the combined chock towards the centre of the base making it less liable to tip. A rubber shim (400) is fixed to the top surface of the chock. The shim (400) improves the connection between the chock and pavers supported on the chock/paver support. 300 [ 1209 Fig. 1 94
