The present disclosure relates generally to a column formwork. In one aspect, there is provided a panel assembly for locating around a column form, the panel assembly comprising at least a first panel and a second panel, each panel comprising a plate shaped body comprising an upper surface and a bottom surface and a connecting edge, wherein a cut-out is formed along the connecting edge, and wherein the panels are configured to be joined together along their connecting edges such that their respective cut-outs align and form a central aperture configured to locate around a column form.
