Interconnectors and interconnection systems
Abstract Prefabricated prefinished volumetric constructions (PPVC) require individual building 5 modules to be interconnected to one another using interconnectors. Different forms of interconnectors are disclosed in which there is a central common body section from which a multitude of elongate connectors extend 10 generally upwardly or downwardly in the form of spigots. The interconnector can have any number of spigots. The spigots are arranged in spaced apart pairs but may have an optional single spigot spaced apart from the pair of spigots and 15 extending in the same direction as one of the pair of spigots. Different forms of spigot are used to interconnect different numbers of abutting building modules. One form of interconnector is a grouted or cemented spigot 20 located within a chamber formed by columns of building modules in vertical alignment. The grouted spigot is associated with an inlet tube and an outlet tube within the columns for facilitating introduction and discharge of the 25 grout or cement to provide a visual indication that the chamber has been completely filled with grout. 12457837_1 (GHMatters) P113572.AU 22/06/21 CN(00 o C N
