THERMALLY BROKEN MULLION A mullion 1 includes an elongate major half 2 having an exterior side 5 and an interior side 6 and a perpendicular connecting face 7 and an opposing glazing face 8. A pair of spaced apart thermal insulation members 10, 11 extend between and rigidly connect the interior 6 and exterior 5 sides and on glazing face 8 intermediate the interior 6 and exterior sides 5 a major glazing pocket 9 to receive and retain one or more parallel glass panes 4. The mullion 1 further includes a minor half 3 including a minor half external portion 15 having a connecting face 16 and an opposing face 17 where the connecting face 16 connects with the major half external side 5 connecting face 7, and a minor half internal portion 18 having a connecting face 19 and an opposing face 20 where the internal portion connecting face 19 is configured to connect with the major half internal side 6 connecting face 7 where intermediate the minor half external 15 and internal 18 portions a minor glazing pocket 21 is provided.
