WEAR-RESISTANT COMPONENT
A wear-resistant component (1) comprises: a metal base material part (10); a core (40) that is harder than the base material part (10) and is embedded in the base material part (10); and a plurality of support members (60, 70) at least one end (61, 71) of which is exposed from the surface of the base material part (10), said plurality of support members (60, 70) extending inward into the base material part (10) and prescribing the position of the core (40) inside the base material part (10) by contacting the core (40) in a portion other than the end (61, 71).
