FIRE RESISTANT SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM
Abstract A fire resistant door system for installation in an opening of a wall structure. The system includes a sliding door mountable for sliding movement between an open position and a closed position, and one or more gap seal arrangements. The gap seal arrangements being heat or flame activatable so as to close gaps between the sliding door and the wall structure when the sliding door is in the closed position. (Fig. 1)
