Abstract An integrated groundsheet affixing system comprises two layers defining a storage compartment therebetween an opening for the storage compartment and a generally flat peg able to fit and lie flat within the storage compartment. The system has a lanyard attaching the peg to the layers and wherein the lanyard is attached within the storage compartment so that the system is configurable in a packed configuration wherein the lanyard and the peg are entirely contained within the storage compartment or a deployed configuration wherein the lanyard tethers the peg outside the storage compartment through the opening.
