Self-levelling support for cantilevered sliding gate
Abstract A self-levelling support for a cantilevered sliding gate is provided. The self-levelling support is a carriage assembly for a cantilever slidable gate, the gate being of the type provided with a guide rail fixed to a barrier framework and extend longitudinally according to an advancement direction, the carriage assembly comprising: a wheel carrier structure; a vertical support component; and one or more articulated joints (e.g. ball joint or Heim joint) configured to connect the wheel carrier structure with the vertical support, wherein the one or more articulated joints is configured to facilitate relative movement of the wheel carrier structure in the pitch, roll and yaw axes. The application of which provides better alignment of each carriage, ensures each wheel shares a balanced load and consequently reduces wear or failure caused by substantial transverse forces.
