FLOORING ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
Abstract A flooring adjustment assembly 10 for adjusting the level of a flooring member is described. The assembly 10 has an elongate adjustable member 12, with a first threaded section 14 at one end, and a second threaded section 16 at the other end, and an unthreaded section 18 in the middle. The 10 unthreaded section 18 is adapted to be gripped for rotating the adjustable member 12, and the first threaded section is threaded in the opposite direction to the second threaded section. The assembly also has an elongate structural support member 20 having a concentric threaded aperture provided in a top end thereof for receiving the first threaded section of the 15 adjustable member in screw-threaded engagement therewith. A support plate member 24 is also provided, having a support plate 25 for supporting the flooring member. The support plate 25 has a threaded aperture 26 provided in an underside thereof for receiving the second threaded section 16 of the adjustable member 12 in screw-threaded engagement therewith.
