A building system for a dwelling comprising: an array of footings (60) defining a foundation for the dwelling; a flooring frame (61) associated with the array of footings (60) and adapted to support flooring (91) of the dwelling; a plurality of elongate flooring members (90) having an isosceles trapezoid cross section and being adapted to be laid side-by-side in alternating orientation about a horizontal floor plane to define flooring (91) of the dwelling; a plurality of elongate exterior wall members (110) having an isosceles trapezoid cross section and being adapted to be erected side-by-side in alternating orientation about vertical exterior wall planes to define exterior walls (111) of the dwelling; a plurality of elongate roofing members (130) having an isosceles trapezoid cross section and being adapted to be laid side-by-side in alternating orientation about a horizontal roofing plane to define roofing (131) of the dwelling, wherein an underside of said roofing (131) is adapted to compliment distal end surfaces of said elongate exterior wall members (110), thereby securing said roofing (131) relative to said exterior walls (111), and wherein said elongate roofing members (130) are secured in position relative to each other to form said roofing (131).

A building system for a dwelling comprising: an array of footings (60) defining a foundation for the dwelling; a flooring frame (61) associated with the array of footings (60) and adapted to support flooring (91) of the dwelling; a plurality of elongate flooring members (90) having an isosceles trapezoid cross section and being adapted to be laid side-by-side in alternating orientation about a horizontal floor plane to define flooring (91) of the dwelling; a plurality of elongate exterior wall members (110) having an isosceles trapezoid cross section and being adapted to be erected side-by-side in alternating orientation about vertical exterior wall planes to define exterior walls (111) of the dwelling; a plurality of elongate roofing members (130) having an isosceles trapezoid cross section and being adapted to be laid side-by-side in alternating orientation about a horizontal roofing plane to define roofing (131) of the dwelling, wherein an underside of said roofing (131) is adapted to compliment distal end surfaces of said elongate exterior wall members (110), thereby securing said roofing (131) relative to said exterior walls (111), and wherein said elongate roofing members (130) are secured in position relative to each other to form said roofing (131).
