A photovoltaic roofing panel is described which includes at least one photovoltaic collector strip, and a semi-flexible board configured to be disposed on a roof deck. The photovoltaic collector strip is fixedly associated with the semi-flexible board, wherein the semi-flexible board defines channels configured for disposal of conductive material and positioned relatively below the strip. The conductive material is configured to carry electricity generated by the photovoltaic collector strip.
