CABLE GUARDRAIL SYSTEM AND HANGER
A hanger for a cable guardrail system is disclosed including a first portion with first and second seats on opposite sides of a post each seat capable of supporting a cable, and a second portion capable of engaging the end of the post. Also disclosed is a cable guardrail system including a plurality of posts, a plurality of hangers attached to at least a portion of the plurality of posts, and at least two cables supported by the seats on opposite sides of the post. The cable guardrail system may redirect an impacting vehicle and dissipate a portion of the impacting vehicle's energy.
Linvention concerne un cavalier pour un système de contre-rail de câble incluant une première partie avec des premier et second sièges sur des côtés opposés dun poteau, chaque siège étant capable de supporter un câble, et une seconde partie capable de saccoupler avec lextrémité du poteau. Il est également révélé un système de contre-rail de câble incluant une pluralité de poteaux, une pluralité de cavaliers attachés à au moins une partie de la pluralité de poteaux, et au moins deux câbles supportés par les sièges sur des côtés opposés du poteau. Le système de contre-rail de câble peut rediriger un véhicule subissant un choc et dissiper une partie de lénergie du véhicule subissant le choc.
