Disclsoed is a stair tread overlay for fitting over a stair tread having a nose. The tread overlay has an elongated, substantially planar tread portion for fitting over a planar portion of the stair tread and a rounded nose portion having a rounded interior profile shape extending from an edge of the tread portion for fitting over the nose of the stair tread, wherein the tread overlay has a J-shaped profile.

Le revêtement de marche possède une partie de marche sensiblement planaire allongée pour sadapter sur une partie planaire dun de la marche descalier et dune partie de nez arrondie possédant une forme de profil intérieur arrondi sétendant dun bord de la partie de marche pour sadapter sur le nez de la marche descalier, dans lequel le revêtement de marche possède un profil en forme de J.
