VIBRATORY RIPPER HAVING DEPTH ADJUSTABLE RIPPING MEMBER
In an aspect of the invention a ripping mechanism for a vehicle is provided which includes a support frame, a ripping member and an impact mechanism, such as a vibrator, which is configured to reciprocate the ripping member forwardly and rearwardly about a transverse pivot axis. The ripping member is mounted within a sleeve that pivots with the ripping member about the pivot axis, while at the same time selectively permitting movement of the ripping member along the sleeve. The ripping member may thereby be raised or lowered relative to the sleeve in order to adjust the depth of the engagement head relative to the support frame.
Dans un aspect de linvention, un mécanisme défonceur pour un véhicule est décrit, lequel comprend un châssis de support, un élément défonceur et un mécanisme dimpact, comme un vibrateur, lequel est conçu pour faire aller et venir lélément daccrochage vers lavant et larrière autour dun axe de rotation transversal. Lélément défonceur est monté à lintérieur dun manchon qui tourne avec lélément défonceur autour de laxe de rotation, tout en permettant sélectivement en même temps un mouvement de lélément défonceur le long du manchon. Lélément défonceur peut ainsi être soulevé ou abaissé par rapport au manchon pour régler la profondeur de la tête de mise en prise par rapport au châssis de support.
