The present invention relates to a formaldehyde-free sizing composition for fiber materials, in particular inorganic fibers such as fiberglass or stone wool, including: at least one non-reducing sugar; and at least one inorganic-acid ammonium salt, preferably selected from among ammonium sulfates, phosphates, nitrates, and carbonates. The invention also relates to the resulting materials, in particular mineral-wool thermal or sound insulation and non-woven inorganic-fiber mats, and to the method for manufacturing same.
La présente invention se rapporte à une composition d'encollage exempte de formaldéhyde, pour des produits à base de fibres, notamment minérales telles que des fibres de verre ou de roche, qui comprend - au moins un sucre non réducteur, et - au moins un sel d'ammonium d'acide inorganique, de préférence choisi parmi les sulfates, les phosphates, les nitrates et les carbonates d'ammonium. Elle a également pour objet les produits ainsi obtenus, notamment des isolants thermiques et/ou acoustiques à base de laine minérale et des voiles de fibres minérales non tissées, et leur procédé de fabrication
