GRADE LEVEL SERVICE ENCLOSURE
A flush to grade service enclosure has a main body which is generally hollow. An open top is covered by a cover which is hinged to the body. Two watertight strain relief connection parts are provided, to allow service wires to feed into the hollow body. A rack is secured to the underside of the cover and a stop is provided to allow said cover to be supported in a raised position. The rack is displaced from the hinge axis and is thus raised above the hinge axis when the cover is raised. A lock is provided to lock the rack in a vertically extended position. A connection panel, carried by the rack, can be located at an ergonomically suitable height.
