A spacer profile (1) for use as part of a spacer profile frame is disclosed, which is suitable for being mounted in and/or along an edge area of an insulating glazing unit (50) for forming and maintaining an intervening space (53) between glazing panes (51, 52), wherein the spacer profile extends in a longitudinal direction (z) and comprises in a cross section (x-y) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (z), a first width (bl) in a transverse direction (x), which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (x), and comprises first height (hi) in a height direction (y), which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (z) and to the transverse direction (x), and comprises an inner side (13) in the height direction (Y), which is arranged to face towards the intervening space (53) in the assembled state of the spacer profile frame, and an outer side (14), which is arranged to face away from the inner side (13), the spacer profile (1) further comprising a profile body (10) formed from a first heat insulating material an, seen in the cross section (x-y) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (z), outer side walls (11, 12) extending in the height direction and having a distance (b2) in the transverse direction smaller than the first width (b1), each side wall (11, 12) having an inner protrusion (16a, 16b) protruding towards the opposite side wall (12, 11) in the same second height (hp), and a diffusion barrier film (30) firmly bonded with the profile body (10) and, seen in the cross section (x-y) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (z), extending over the profile body (10) on the outer side of the spacer profile and continuous thereto in the height direction (y) on the outside of the side walls and/or in the same to the second height (hp) and into the protrusions (16a, 16b).

La présente invention concerne un profilé d'espacement (1) destiné à être utilisé en tant que partie d'un cadre à profilé d'espacement. Ledit profilé est approprié pour être monté dans et/ou le long d'une zone de bord d'un vitrage isolant (50) pour former et maintenir un espace intervenant (53) entre des carreaux de vitrage (51, 52).
