The invention relates to molten grains consisting essentially of titanium sub-oxides of the formulation Ti n O 2n-1, in which said phases are principally Ti5 O 9 or Ti 6 O 11 or a mixture of these two phases, said phases Ti5 O 9 and/or Ti 6 O 11 representing, in total, more than 60 % of the weight of the grains, said grains further comprising less than 30% by weight of Ti4O7.
L'invention se rapporte à des grains fondus constitués essentiellement de sous-oxydes de titane répondant à la formulation Ti n O 2n-1, dans lesquels lesdites phases sont principalement Ti5 O 9 ou Ti 6 O 11 ou un mélange de ces deux phases, les dites phases Ti5 O 9 et/ou Ti 6 O 11 représentant, au total, plus de 60 % du poids des grains,lesdits grains comprenant en outre moins de 30% en poids de Ti4O7.
