COMPOSITE STEEL JOIST
A steel joist assembly for use in association with a concrete slab to form a composite steel joist. The joist assembly has a steel joist having a top portion with a generally planar top surface and a planar web generally orthogonal to the generally planar top surface; a pair of end connectors, one attached at each end of the steel joist and extending outwardly therefrom each end connector having a strut and a diagonal member. The strut has a generally planar bottom surface which is attached to a portion of the generally planar top surface of the steel joist and the diagonal member is attached at one end thereof to the strut and at the other end thereof to a portion of the planar web of the steel joist.
L'invention porte sur un ensemble de poutrelle en acier pour l'utilisation en association avec une dalle de béton afin de former une poutrelle en acier composite. L'ensemble de poutrelle a une poutrelle en acier ayant une partie supérieure avec une surface supérieure globalement plane et une âme plane globalement orthogonale à la surface supérieure globalement plane ; une paire de raccords d'extrémité, chacun fixé à chaque extrémité de la poutrelle en acier et s'étendant vers l'extérieur à partir de celle-ci, chaque raccord d'extrémité ayant une entretoise et un élément en diagonale. L'entretoise a une surface inférieure globalement plane qui est fixée à une partie de la surface supérieure globalement plane de la poutrelle en acier, et l'élément en diagonale est fixé à une extrémité de celui-ci à l'entretoise, et, à l'autre extrémité de celui-ci, à une partie de l'âme plane de la poutrelle en acier.
