Floor panel for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor panel (1), on at least one pair of opposite edges (4-5), comprises coupling parts (8-9) allowing that two of such floor panels can be joined by means of a downward movement (M) of one floor panel (1) in respect to the other floor panel, wherein these coupling parts (4- 5) allow a locking in a first direction (V) perpendicular to the plane of the floor panels (1) as well as in a second direction (H) perpendicular to the respective edge (4-5) and in the plane of the floor panels (1), wherein on at least one of said edges a longitudinal recess is present underneath the upper surface with a locking element, characterized in that the shape and/or the position of the recess and/or the configuration of the coupling parts is such that deformations are avoided.
La présente invention concerne un panneau de plancher permettant de former un revêtement de sol, dans lequel le panneau de plancher (1), sur au moins une paire de bords opposés (4-5), comprend des parties d'accouplement (8-9) permettant que deux desdits panneaux de plancher puissent être assemblés au moyen d'un mouvement vers le bas (M) d'un panneau de plancher (1) par rapport à l'autre panneau de plancher, ces parties d'accouplement (4- 5) permettant un blocage dans une première direction (V) perpendiculaire au plan des panneaux de plancher(1) ainsi que dans une seconde direction (H) perpendiculaire au bord respectif (4-5) et dans le plan des panneaux de plancher (1), sur au moins un desdits bords un évidement longitudinal étant présent sous la surface supérieure avec un élément de blocage, caractérisé en ce que la forme et/ou la position de l'évidement et/ou la configuration des parties d'accouplement est telle que des déformations sont évitées.
