An adjustably positionable ladder step removably mounted on a rung-ladder for providing a relatively large standing surface. The ladder attachment apparatus has a load-supporting structure for supporting a load generated by a user's weight, the load-supporting structure having a foot-supporting surface upon which a user stands, a hook-shaped member for engaging a rung, a first and second strengthening walls and at least one longitudinal support. The hook-shaped member having exterior surface, rung engaging bend and rung-engaging surface improved with engaging teeth. At least one stiffener configured for adding strength to the load-supporting structure. A pair of engaging bars for resisting the applied load by engaging side rails. A pair of level adjusters for accommodating various side rail depths and for allowing adjustment of varying ladder angles to maintain the horizontality of the foot-supporting surface, each level adjuster pivots about an engaging bar.
