ADJUSTABLE DOOR LOCK AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
An adjustable door lock (10') includes a catch plate (22') having a body (51) and a plurality of flanges (52) positioned on an exterior face of the body( 51) such that a corresponding gap (53) is formed between the body (51) and each of the flanges (52), respectively. Advantageously, a catch (20) having a channel (27) is adjustably connected to the catch plate (22') wherein the catch (20) is selectively interfitted through at least of one of the gaps (53). A door plate (24') is disposed adjacent to the catch plate (20) and adapted to be secured to the door. A locking bolt (25') is in communication with the door plate (24') and linearly reciprocated along a first linear path (90) passing along the door plate (24') and the channel (27).
Cette invention concerne un verrou de porte (10') réglable, comprenant une plaque à gâche (22') présentant un corps (51) et une pluralité de brides (52) disposées sur une face extérieure du corps (51) de telle sortie qu'un espacement correspondant (53) est formé entre le corps (51) et chacune des brides respectivement (52). Avantageusement, une gâche (20) comprenant un canal (27) est reliée à la plaque à gâche (22') de manière réglable, ladite gâche (20) étant sélectivement emboîtée dans au moins un des espacements (53). Une plaque côté porte (24') est disposée de manière adjacente à la plaque à gâche (20) et elle est conçue pour être fixée à une porte. Une tige de verrouillage (25') entre en contact avec la plaque côté porte (24') et elle effectue un mouvement linéaire de va-et-vient le long d'un premier trajet linéaire (90) s'étendant le long de la plaque côté porte (24') et du canal (27).
