L'invention porte sur un procédé pour améliorer les propriétés hydrophobes d'un produit de fibrociment, le procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : fourniture d'un produit de fibrociment comprenant au moins une surface profilée ; application d'un liquide anhydre à base de silane sur la ou les surfaces profilées ; le fait de permettre audit liquide anhydre à base de silane de pénétrer dans le produit de fibrociment.
