FLEXIBLE NON-WOVEN MAT
A non-woven chopped fiber mat is provided that includes a mixture of about 10 to about 100 weight percent glass fibers and about 5 to about 50 weight percent synthetic fibers. The non-woven mat includes a binder composition that includes a binder resin and a silane coupling agent. It has been found that the physical properties (e.g., flexibility, tensile strength) of a non-woven mat may be improved by formulating a soft but strong binder composition for use in forming the mat.
L'invention porte sur un mat de fibres hachées non-tissé, lequel mat comprend un mélange d'environ 10 à environ 100 pour cent en poids de fibres de verre et d'environ 5 à environ 50 pour cent en poids de fibres synthétiques.
