A MOVABLE COVER FOR COVERING A PIT
Disclosed is a movable cover for handling a relatively heavy vehicle, such as a bus, and for covering a pit, the pit being elongate along a longitudinal axis and the pit extending along a transverse axis, the transverse axis being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The moveable cover includes plural cover elements, each being elongate along the transverse direction to form a beam that includes an upper first major portion, a pair of side portions extending downwardly from the first major portion, each one of the cover elements including a first mating element and a second mating element, the first and second mating elements being opposite each other along the transverse axis. A first mating element of a first cover element is configured to fit within a second mating element of a second cover element. A set of tracks is configured to support cover elements over the pit.
La présente concerne un couvercle mobile pour manipuler un véhicule relativement lourd, comme un bus, et pour recouvrir une fosse, la fosse étant allongée le long dun axe longitudinal et la fosse sétendant le long dun axe transversal, laxe transversal étant perpendiculaire à laxe longitudinal. Le couvercle mobile comprend plusieurs éléments de couvercle, chacun étant allongé le long de la direction transversale pour former un faisceau qui comprend une première partie principale supérieure, une paire de parties latérales sétendant vers le bas à partir de la première partie principale, chacun des éléments de couvercle comprenant un premier élément et un second élément daccouplement, les premier et second éléments daccouplement étant opposés lun à lautre le long de laxe transversal.
