It's only after the fact it is discovered a life threating event has occurred because of faulty equipment. The Pool Janitor is designed to inspect a pool for the presence of electricity every time a person uses a pool vacuum to clean the pool during their daily maintenance program. How the Pool Janitor works is simple. A person would Just attached the Pool Janitor to their vacuum, whether the vacuum is hand operated or automatic. The Pool Janitor is equipped with a probe or sensor with a flashing warning light. The unit is connect to the control box by means of a communication cable, which is clipped to the suction hose or power cord of the vacuum if the vacuum is electric. The main control box can be plugged into any 120 volt grounded house hold receptacle. The control box references the probe input to the system ground and if it senses electricity in the pool it initiates a beeping audible alarm and a flashing light located in the control box. When the system is triggered or activated the pool can be safely shut down and pool inspectors or electrician should be called in, thus insuring electrical safety before anyone enters the pool and not tragically afterwards. Use of the Pool Janitor can saves lives and should be part of every pool owner's regular maintenance program. Remember, you can't see electricity but it can be detected and measured.
