La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'hydroxyde de calcium hautement poreux comprenant une étape d'alimentation en oxyde de calcium, une étape d'alimentation en eau d'une zone d'alimentation d'un dispositif d'hydratation, une étape d'extinction dudit oxyde de calcium dans une zone d'extinction dudit dispositif d'hydratation et une étape de maturation dans une zone de maturation dudit dispositif d'hydratation pour former de l'hydroxyde de calcium.
