CONCRETE ANCHOR COUPLING ASSEMBLY AND ANCHOR ROD HOLDER

The invention relates to a concrete anchor coupling assembly, comprising: a) a base holder for being attached to a concrete forming surface, the base holder including a threaded central opening; b) an anchor coupler having a body portion and a head portion, said body portion including a longitudinal axis and a first threaded bore along said axis, said head portion including a shoulder portion extending substantially transversely to said longitudinal axis of said body portion; and c) said body portion having an end portion being disposed within said threaded central opening, said end portion having outside threads for threaded engagement with said threaded central opening. The concrete anchor coupling assemblies are used to help prevent entry of the concrete slurry into the threaded bores during concrete pour.

Linvention concerne un ensemble daccouplement pour ancrage à béton comprenant : a) un support de base conçu pour être fixé à une surface dun coffrage à béton, le support de base comprenant une ouverture centrale filetée; b) un coupleur dancrage ayant une partie de corps et une partie de tête, ladite partie de corps comprenant un axe longitudinal et un premier alésage fileté le long dudit axe, ladite partie de tête comprenant une partie dépaulement sétendant de façon sensiblement perpendiculaire audit axe longitudinal de ladite partie de corps; et c) ladite partie de corps ayant une partie dextrémité étant disposée à lintérieur de ladite ouverture centrale filetée, ladite partie dextrémité ayant des filets extérieurs pour la mise en prise filetée avec ladite ouverture centrale filetée. Les ensembles daccouplement pour ancrage à béton sont utilisés pour aider à prévenir lentrée de la bouillie de béton dans les alésages filetés pendant le coulage de béton.
