GUTTER GUARD AND KIT FOR GUTTER HAVING HANGER
A gutter guard kit is provided for covering an opening of a gutter having a front wall and a rear wall and further having a gutter hanger member secured thereto. The opening is defined by top edges of the front and rear walls and the gutter hanger member is secured to the gutter from engagement with the front and rear walls. The kit includes a support member having a rigid body portion, a hanger engagement portion extending from a first edge of the body portion and a guard retaining portion extending from a second edge of the body portion. The kit also includes a guard member having a plurality of throughholes formed therein, the guard member being engageable with at least one of the front wall of the gutter and the front end of the gutter hanger member and with the guard retaining portion of the support member.
