A drainage channel receives fluid from a building floor and drains it to a waste outlet. The channel has an upwardly open channel with a lower most floor portion and about the floor portion are sides to fluidly enclose and define the channel. On an upper most periphery of the channel, a first side has a substantially planar flange, and on the upper most periphery a second side has a planar flange. A waste aperture in the floor portion allows draining. A grate is supported via upstands to adjust the height. The channel can be substantially located within an aperture in the building floor and the substantially planar flange(s) can be secured to an upper presenting surface of the floor, and the substantially planar flange can be secured to an upward surface of a channel surrounding wall, to hold the drainage channel in place.
Il est décrit un canal d'écoulement qui reçoit du fluide provenant d'un plancher d'un édifice, puis le conduit vers un orifice de sortie. Le canal comprend un canal découvert du côté supérieur ayant une partie de plancher inférieur longée par des éléments latéraux qui referment et définissent le canal sur le plan fluidique. Sur une partie périphérique supérieure du canal, un premier côté comprend une bride essentiellement plane, tandis qu'un deuxième côté comprend une bride plane. Une ouverture de déchets dans la partie constituant un plancher permet aux fluides de s'écouler. Des rainures d'étanchéiage supportent une grille pour en ajuster la hauteur. Le canal peut essentiellement se disposer dans une ouverture traversant le plancher de l'édifice et les brides essentiellement planes peuvent se fixer à une surface du plancher orientée vers le haut. La bride essentiellement plane peut se fixer à une surface d'un mur qui entoure le canal orienté vers le haut, et ce, afin de retenir le canal d'écoulement en place.
