POWERED HAND-HELD SPREADER
A portable device suitable for spreading granular product includes a spreader body, comprising a hopper; a handle integral to the spreader body; a motor disposed in a lower portion of the spreader body, below the hopper; a gear train driven by the motor; an opening located on a forward portion of the spreader body; a rotor plate for spreading the granular product; an agitator mounted in the hopper; a trigger movable between a first position in which the motor is off and a second position in which the motor is actuated, the trigger configured to default to the first position; a rotary dial, coupled to the forward portion of the spreader body below the handle, the rotary dial being rotatably movable between a plurality of settings; a shutter cam, coupled internally to the rotary dial, for adjusting a distance of travel of a shutter plate.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif d'épandage motorisé portatif qui comprend une poignée permettant à un utilisateur de saisir et de tenir le dispositif avec une seule main. Le dispositif d'épandage comprend un obturateur réglable, commandé par un cadran rotatif, pour permettre la distribution d'une vaste gamme de produits granulaires différents qui requièrent des débits de distribution différents. Le produit granulaire est contenu dans une trémie. Le produit peut être distribué sur divers types de terrains, y compris, sans s'y limiter, des pelouses, jardins, et chemins.
