My invention is a smart highway for self driving vehicles. As vehicles become smarter, the roads have stayed the same. My smart highway system will make highways safer by putting information into the highway or road system. It will be able to inform a vehicle information like speed for corners, traffic lanes where the edges of the roads are, where the centre of the roads are and any corresponding lanes on highways. Anywhere vehicles drive this system could be used, ie- school zones, crosswalks and parks, where speed needs to be reduced. My system uses existing insfracture and would be just added to it; so any Province, City, or State would be able to upgrade there roads, and highway systems.
