SPREADER
A hopper spreader for installation on a vehicle has a flow regulator configured to regulate flow of particulate material from the container. The spreader has a conveyor mechanism comprising an auger that conveys particulate material to a spinner that distributes the particulate material to the surface over which the vehicle moves. A coupler and an end of the auger opposite to the motor that drives the auger are configured to engage and allow the conveyor to rotate the auger to reduce a particulate jam. The configuration of the coupler and auger end is such that they directly disengage if the auger motor accidently starts.
Une épandeuse de trémie destinée à être installée sur un véhicule comporte un régulateur de débit conçu pour réguler le débit du matériau particulaire à partir du récipient. Lépandeuse comporte un mécanisme de transporteur ayant une tarière transportant le matériau particulaire à une essoreuse qui distribue le matériau particulaire à une surface sur laquelle le véhicule se déplace. Un coupleur et une extrémité de la tarière à lopposé du moteur entraînant la tarière sont configurés pour engager le transporteur et lui permettre de faire tourner la tarière afin de réduire le coinçage de particules. La configuration du coupleur et de lextrémité de tarière est telle quelle est débrayée si le moteur de la tarière est accidentellement démarré.
