A securing assembly for an article, said assembly being capable of securing against both tensile and compressive forces, and including: a casing which in use is rigidly attached to an article to be secured; a securing rod which is adapted to be releasably connectable between a floor underlying an article to be secured and said article; the securing rod providing a first portion at one end thereof and a second portion at the other end thereof, and a third portion having reduced strength compared to said first and second portions, between said first and second portions; a bearing dimensioned and arranged to support at least a major portion of said third part of said rod; said casing being arranged to completely surround and contain at least said third portion of said rod; said casing being in load transmitting engagement with said rod.
L'invention concerne un ensemble de sécurisation d'un article, ledit ensemble étant apte à assurer une sécurisation contre des forces à la fois de traction et de compression, et comportant : un boîtier qui, lors de l'utilisation, est fixé de manière rigide à un article à sécuriser ; une tige de sécurisation qui est conçue pour être reliée amovible entre un plancher sous-jacent à un article à sécurisation et ledit article ; la tige de sécurisation comportant une première partie au niveau d'une de ses extrémités et une deuxième partie au niveau de son autre extrémité, et une troisième partie ayant une résistance réduite par rapport auxdites première et deuxième parties, entre lesdites première et deuxième parties ; un support dimensionné et disposé de manière à supporter au moins une majeure partie de ladite troisième partie de ladite tige ; ledit boîtier étant disposé pour entourer complètement et pour contenir au moins ladite troisième partie de ladite tige ; ledit boîtier étant en prise de transmission de charge avec ladite tige.
